A new employment precinct taking shape in Parwan.

Around 2,500 hectares of jobs land is being planned at Parwan by the Victorian Planning Authority and Moorabool Shire Council. Agribusiness, industry and logistics are set to anchor the region's growth, about 50 km west of Melbourne and minutes from Bacchus Marsh.

Parwan Employment is jobs land, not a housing estate. The Victorian Planning Authority is working with Moorabool Shire Council on a Precinct Structure Plan and Development Contributions Plan for the precinct. Technical studies have been published through July 2026, and no draft plan has been exhibited yet.

The neighbouring Merrimu PSP is a separate residential precinct at Bacchus Marsh with its own name, figures and timeline. Nothing on this page describes Merrimu.
